Introduction to Playbooks Mobile

What is playbooks mobile and how to use it

Playbooks Mobile provides all the main features of Playbooks directly on your phone. You can complete the same work you normally do from your computer – placing calls, sending emails, text messages, CRM logging, and more – from your mobile phone. Now reps can wake up in the morning and review the tasks they’ll need to accomplish that day or send emails while commuting. If Playbooks makes sense for a rep on a desktop, it will make sense for them on their phone.

Playbooks Mobile Dashboard

The Playbooks Mobile main screen is very similar to the main screen of Playbooks on your computer.

  1. Menu – The XANT icon on the top left-hand side of the page opens the menu. From the menu, you can select all the menu and navigation options available in Playbooks Mobile. The Menu button will be accessible at all times.
  2. Progress Bar – The Progress Bar shows how many tasks you have completed of your total due tasks. One dash indicates one completed task.
  3. Info Bar – The Info Bar provides you with information, like inbound availability, ranking score, and notifications. To stay connected, the Info Bar is available to you on all pages inside the application.
  4. Dashboard – Your Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to Playbooks. This provides you with a brief overview of today’s top tasks. Clicking on any category here will present you with a filtered list of tasks to help you narrow your focus. Depending on what features are enabled and configured for your team, you may or may not see Shared tasks.
  5. Next Bar – The Next Bar is another place you can click to start your tasks. Select Start Today’s Tasks to begin working from the first bucket (Urgent task bucket).

If your manager has enabled Playbooks Priority Mode for your team, this is what your screen will look like when you log into Playbooks.

  1. Menu –The XANT icon on the top left-hand side of the page opens the menu. From the menu, you can select the menu and navigation options available in Playbooks Priority Mode. The Plays, Email Templates, and Email Snippet menu options open a new tab when selected. The Menu button is accessible at all times.
  2. Info Bar –The Info Bar provides you with information, like inbound availability, ranking score, and notifications. To stay connected, the Info Bar is available to you on all pages inside the application.
  3. Dashboard –Your Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to Playbooks. This provides you with a brief overview of today’s completed and skipped tasks. If your Playbooks has been set to Priority mode, you won’t see any buckets and won’t be able to select which set of tasks you will start working first. You will only have the option to select Start Next Tasks at the top.
  4. Next Bar –The Next Bar is another place you can click to start you tasks. Select Start Today’s Tasks to begin working from the first bucket (Urgent task bucket).

Playbooks Mobile Navigation

There are several ways to move around in the Playbooks extension on mobile.

  1. Task Badge –Indicates which task bucket you are currently working from. Personal tasks have a single silhouette icon and Shared tasks have a double silhouette icon.
  2. Action Screen –The Action Screen is where you see all past and present pertinent information for the task and complete the actual task work. From the Play tab, you see the steps in the Play you are working, see when the task is due, and interact with whatever Play Step you are set to complete. If the task is an Urgent task, a yellow tag with Urgent will be present. You can view past tasks completed on this record by clicking the Activities tab.
  3. Task Button – Task Buttons are a list of tasks available within the selected play. You can use these to send an ad hoc email, make an ad hoc phone call, schedule a call, snooze a task, send a Sendoso gift, or send an ad hoc text.
  4. Next Bar – The Next Bar along the bottom of Playbooks guides you directly to your next task with one click. Use the task bucket drop-down arrow to change between Urgent, Shared, and Personal tasks at any moment. This feature has been designed to streamline your prospecting process. As soon as you open Playbooks, you can click into your first task. Depending on the current task the Next Bar Buttons will include whatever action needed to complete the task.
  5. Keyboard –When you can enter text in Playbooks Mobile, your keyboard will pop up to let you type. You can also use the voice keyboard to input information if your mobile keyboard has it enabled.
