Reporting for Managers

Where can managers access reports for their team?

Managers should be hyper-focused on results. Therefore, being able to report on multiple aspects of their team is important. Playbooks managers have two options when it comes to reporting; they can view data from the in-app Playbooks Reports (tab located in the Playbooks Manager App) or they can view CRM reports.

Playbooks Reports

The in-app Playbooks Reports tab is optimal for managers that are already in the Playbooks Manager App most days and looking for distilled Playbooks data only. The reporting engine was designed for uses like comparing Plays, comparing teams and users, and applying a conversion filter.

It is really easy for managers to create and save reports for viewing week over week, month over month, which removes a lot of burden on a Sales Operations team to create and manage reports in CRM.

CRM Reports

Since Playbooks data is pushed into CRM, managers can leverage their Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics reporting engines to weave Playbooks data into other business critical data. This option for reporting means that Playbooks data is available for non-Playbooks licensed users like key stakeholders in finance, marketing, and top sales leadership.

A thorough course on Salesforce reporting is available on XANT University, and a Dynamics reporting course is coming soon (Q4 2020).
