Types of Tasks That Are Listed in the Menu

What are the different types of tasks I can view from the menu?

When you click the Menu button, there are several types of tasks listed under the Tasks section. This article describes what these tasks are and how to view them.

Automated Tasks

Selecting this option from the menu provides you a list of automated email steps that are scheduled to be sent during the current business day.

To View Automated Tasks

  1. Open Playbooks.
  2. Click the menu button (XANT logo).
  3. Under Tasks, click Automated Tasks.

Scheduled Call Tasks

As a result of scheduling a call, a very specific type of task is created. These tasks pause all activity within a Play until they are completed. Scheduling a phone call task is discussed in greater detail in this article. Selecting this option from the menu shows you a filtered list of all your scheduled call tasks.

To View Scheduled Call Tasks

  1. Open Playbooks.
  2. Click the menu button (XANT logo).
  3. Under Tasks, click Scheduled Call Tasks.

Future Tasks

Selecting this option from the menu enables you to see an overview list of any task that is due in the future. This feature is great if you want to get an idea of the days of your week that will be the busiest. This list is not interactive, so you can’t single out specific tasks to begin working from here.

To View Future Tasks

  1. Open Playbooks.
  2. Click the menu button (XANT logo).
  3. Under Tasks, click Future.
  4. Optionally, choose a time frame from the Select Date calendar.
  5. Optionally, click SHOW NEXT 7 DAYS further into the future.
